Hurst Announces New Partnership for 2017 Season with Form and Function Fitness Centre

Twenty-year-old Ben Hurst of Oakville, Ontario has announced a new partnership with Form and Function Fitness Centre for the 2017 season.

Form and Function Fitness Centre is located near Hurst’s hometown in Mississauga, Ontario and is a 10,000 square foot facility that has something to offer to everyone whether a professional athlete (like Hurst) or an everyday athlete. They provide a completely integrated system of training, nutrition, and sports medicine; a one-stop location for complete wellness services. Form and Function is owned and operated by D’Arcy Smith.

In exchange for providing Hurst with training for the season, Form and Function Fitness will be gaining a new ambassador for their brand. Hurst will be running their name on his Brian Graham Racing Piper DL7 for the season while he contests the Ontario-based Toyo Tires F1600 Series.

“I’m really excited to be working with Form and Function Fitness. It’s a great facility. I’ve known D’Arcy [the owner] for a while and we both share a passion for cars. I’m really pleased to be representing them in the Toyo Tires F1600 Series this year,” Hurst commented of the new partnership.

Hurst and Smith have been working together throughout the off-season in preparation for the coming season.

“With the strength and conditioning progress we have made in the off-season we are excited to see how it translates as we head into this coming race season,” Smith commented of the work they’ve done so far.

Hurst is the Toyo Tires Formula 1600 Championship Rookie of the Year from 2015, BARC’s Best New Driver of 2015, a Team Canada Scholarship 2016 nominee and a member of Pinty’s National Hot List of Drivers to watch in 2017.
